Lilia Sabitova, founder of the Ballet Theatre, graduated from Tashkent State Academic Choreography College, later, as post-graduate, - from Moscow State Academic Choreography College. She is Laurel

of follows competitions : All-USSR Ballet Master Competition (Moscow),
All-USSR Modern Dance Performers Competition (Leningrad), All-Russia Ballet Competition (Moscow; 1st Prize for M. Fokine – Saint-Saens's
Dying Swan),
Havana International Art Festival (Cuba Republic), Argentina International Art
Festival. Lilia was participated as Guest Principal dancer with
Stars of Bolshoi
Ballet company in their tours around the globe, and also, she was participated in numerous international tours with many others Russian ballet companies and theatres.

As Guest Principal, Lilia participated in productions with State Theatre
Ballet of Russia, where she danced leading parts in
Giselle, Paxita, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Valpourge’s Night, Blue Beard,
and many modern dance productions as well. As Guest artist Lilia was performed Principal female role in Dame Agnes De Mille’s famous
Rodeo ballet production with artists of both
American Ballet Theater and
New Jersey Ballet Company.
Since 1990 Lilia Sabitova became an Artistic Director of new-founded Moscow State Ballet Theatre. As choreographer and dancer, Lilia took part in the Bolshoi Theatre celebration of Feodor Chaliapin Anniversary. During celebration of Igor Stravinsky Anniversary, she assisted the production revival of
Petrushka and
Firebird in Moscow.
