This production of the Lilia Sabitova Ballet Theatre is dedicated to the memory of Great Russian poet and holds subscription as "Pushkin -Akhmatova". Not only, because during the show we can heard the poetry of both poets, but, mainly because of Anna Akhmatova's destiny was closely tied with Tsarskoye Tselo. She studied life and works of Alexander Pushkin during her lifetime and considerable part of her own creative output is dedicated to the Poet's personality. In "Muse of Tsarskoye Tselo" ballet production we hear highlights from Pushkin's poems and dramatic scenes "Gipsies", "The Feast During the Plague", "Egyptian Nights", and, also, the line of Akhmatova's lyrics. |
